Notes
Albus NoX Luna was acquired by M19.
Flash Wolves was invited as no LMS team made Worlds QFs or qualified from Oakland/Gyeonggi.
SK Telecom T1 (2016 World Champions) and Samsung Galaxy (winner of IEM Gyeonggi) forfeited their seeds. They are replaced by ROX Tigers and Kongdoo Monster, respectively.
Due to the potential impact caused by Executive order 13769 issued by United States President Donald Trump, restricting some foreign citizens from entry into the United States, Cloud9 forfeited their seed.[1] As no NA team could be found to replace them, they are replaced by G2 Esports.
EDward Gaming forfeited their seed. They are replaced by Hong Kong Esports.
