The IPL 3 takes place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States in October 2011 at Caesar's Palace and Bally's. This is the third tournament in the IGN ProLeague tournament series and IGN's first live League of Legends event. 8 invited teams compete for a chance to earn part of the $ 20,000 prize pool. The matches are played on the Riven patch. The casters for this event were Phreak and Rivington the 3rd.
