The 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC) is a global event taking place during the summer split in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament is set to serve as a successor to the Gamers8 tournament series and aims to invite teams from across the globe to compete in several esport disciplines, notably League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. While not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Riot Games, the tournament is being officially sanctioned by the developers.
