The Battle of the Atlantic 2013 is an offline tournament featuring the top five Season 3 Summer playoffs teams from Europe and North America.
Overview
The first two matches will be held in the ESL studios in Cologne, Germany. The last three matches will take place in Los Angeles, USA.
Format
- All 10 LCS teams who placed 1-5 in the NA or EU summer playoffs are invited.
- Five best-of-three matches.
- Matches between the North American and European team of equal LCS Summer Playoffs rank.
- Winner scoring points for their region:
- Match between 1st place teams awards 3 points
- Match between 2nd-3rd place teams awards 2 points
- Match between 4th-5th place teams awards 1 point
