The 2020 NA Scouting Grounds sponsored by Honda is the fifth annual event of its kind, serving as an opportunity for domestic players to showcase themselves and for LCS teams to sign new talent from within the North American region.

Overview

Format

  • 4 teams participate
    • Top 2 teams from the Scouting Ground Circuit
    • 10 highest ranked players (2 from each role) invited from NA solo queue
      • Restricted to maximum 30 percent of total games on one champion
      • Minimum 30+ games on 4+ different champions in their desired role
  • Group Stage
    • Double Round Robin
    • Matches are best of three
    • Top two progress to the Final
    • Bottom two play in Third-Place Match
  • Finals
    • Matches are best of three
